What's Included in a $250 Commercial Service Call
A clear breakdown of what the $250 covers, how our 30-minute promise protects you, and exactly how any additional work is quoted and approved before a single extra dollar is spent.
What the $250 Covers
A qualified professional Pacific Digital technician — backed by our C7 licensed, bonded, and insured company — will schedule, dispatch, diagnose, and perform the repair. The $250 covers your service call within our typical service-time threshold — usually under 90 minutes, and you're covered for up to 2 hours on-site. Most service calls are fully resolved inside this scope.
- Scheduling and dispatch of one qualified professional technician to your commercial property.
- On-site diagnostics of the reported camera, NVR/DVR, or network issue.
- Standard repair work completed within the typical service-time threshold (usually under 90 minutes; up to 2 hours covered).
- A written service report on every visit.
The 30-Minute Promise
In roughly 90% of cases, our technician knows within the first 30 minutes on-site whether the job will stay inside our typical service-time threshold or require additional scope. That early-call protects you — because you'll never be surprised at the end of a visit, and you're never charged for work you didn't approve.
If anything beyond standard scope is needed, you receive a clear written estimate before any additional work begins.
How Additional Work Is Quoted
When a job extends beyond a standard service call, our technician builds a written estimate on-site through our service platform. You receive a secure web link with:
- Photos of the issue and the work required.
- A clear, plain-English description of the scope — written so it can be understood without technical background.
- A combined time + materials OTD (out-the-door) price — one final number, no surprises.
- Your written approval is required before any additional work begins.
Pricing for additional scope is determined on-site by the technician based on the specific job. We do not publish hourly rates — every estimate is built around the actual time, materials, and conditions of your project, then delivered to you as a single OTD price for your approval.
Common Examples of Additional Scope
If a Return Visit Is Required
Sometimes the right answer is a return visit — for example, when a helper is needed or specific equipment must be ordered. When that's the case, your original $250 is split fairly:
- $125 kept — covers today's truck roll and diagnostic.
- $125 credited toward the return visit when the clock starts.
- You're never double-charged for the truck roll.
- $125 refunded back to you.
- $125 kept for the truck roll and diagnostic.
- You keep the written diagnostic — any qualified vendor can read it, understand the scope, and quote against it.
How It Works, Start to Finish
- You book a service call. Standard dispatch is within 48 hours.
- Our qualified professional technician arrives on-site and runs full diagnostics.
- If the work is a standard repair within our typical service-time threshold (usually under 90 minutes; up to 2 hours covered), it's included in the $250.
- If additional scope is needed, you receive a written estimate with photos, a plain-English description, and a combined OTD price — and nothing else proceeds until you approve it.
- If a return visit is the right call, the fair $125 / $125 split applies.
- You receive a written service report when the visit is complete.
No surprise invoices. No hidden charges. Pacific Digital is C7 licensed, bonded, and insured — and transparent pricing is part of being a premium service provider.
